Good Morning!
This week we are talking about plagiarism and the importance of giving credit to the ones who wrote or thought the ideas in the first place. I personally do not feel I am very good at this but I do try my best to make sure I cite it, whether it is cited correctly is another whole discussion. I know that if I was a writer and wrote a lot of research articles or even books, I would want everyone who uses information from my work to cite it and give the credit. This is like stealing from a store or a friend and it is simply just not right.
I hope everyone has a great week and see you in the discussion boards.

I have been doing the great debate over what to pick for a topic for my scientific research paper. Now that I have the option to pick any topic I want, I did not realize it would be so difficult to choose. I have gone from genetically modified foods to the importance of proper nutrition to the effects of caffeine on the body. The newest idea I came up with was the effects of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for menopausal women. I want to know what the short term and long term effects are on the body if taken or not taken. I have read some articles that vary either way. Some say taking HRT causes breast cancer and some say that not taking HRT causes cardiovascular disease. Personally speaking, I was surgically put into menapause at an early age and I chose not to take HRT for only one reason, it made me very sick all the time. My doctor never informed me of the risks of my decision. I would really appreciate any thoughts and ideas on this topic as I am unsure now where to take my research further.
Good Day!

I am having trouble trying to figure what topic I should research for the final paper. I am leaning toward the necessity and importance of proper nutrition or Genetically modified foods. Any thoughts out there? I firmly believe that proper nutrition is important for our children and adults. On the other hand, genetically modified foods could be the reason our children are maturing and developing sooner than we did. I hope to get some feedback from someone soon.
Have a great day.
Have a great day.

Good afternoon, It has been a pretty quiet day here except my daught is still home sick. She is being such a good sport, waiting patiently for this virus to go away. How about that Bud shootout on Saturday? Kevin Harvick won it, he deserves the title seeing he did not win any real races last year. I was disappointed with the super bowl this year. The commercials were not great like they normally are and the half time show was kinda lame. The game it's self was good to watch. Have a great day, be back tomorrow.

Today is saturday, normally a day off for me, however my daughter is really sick. I have been spending most of my time making sure her temperature does not get to high. My son is enjoying his day, he gets to play the wii all by himself. I am really hoping that tomorrow will be a better day for my daughter. We might actually leave the house!!! The bud shootout is tonight, looking forward to another great season of nascar. I hope Mark Martin can win the championship this time.
